DISABLED VETERANS & WIDOW(ER)S OF DISABLED VETERANS: APPLY FOR MONTGOMERY COUNTY PROPERTY TAX RELIEF PROGRAM
Reliant Realty ERA Powered Team – Monday January 29, 2018
The state of Tennessee will pay for all, or a portion, of a disabled veteran’s or widow(er) of a disabled veteran’s property taxes on their home.
The amount paid will depend on the maximum amount of Tax Relief credit given in relation to the taxes due.
In order to be considered, an application must be filed with the Montgomery County Trustee’s office by April 5, 2018.
There are a few key changes that recently took place with this program: the market value of the property must be between $100,000 and $175,000. T.C.A 67-5-704(a).
