The Village of Royal Palm Beach, incorporated in 1959, is governed by a Mayor and a Village Council and provides municipal services to 37,934 residents. The Village is located in the central part of Palm Beach County, which is in the Southeastern part of the State. The Village encompasses 11 square miles and is 10 miles west of the Atlantic Ocean.
Since 1990, the National Arbor Day Foundation has named the Village of Royal Palm Beach Tree City USA and the entire area within the Village limits is designated as a bird sanctuary. In 2008, Family Circle magazine named the Village of Royal Palm as one of the top 10 best towns for families. Royal Palm Beach is a beautiful, naturalistic village which features six parks. There are over 350 acres of parks & green space including 2 golf courses.
The Village hosts a number of events throughout the year, including a weekend green market, WestFest, Seafood Festival, Fall Fest and Winter Fest. Their 4th of July event lasts all day and concludes with an amazing firework display. The Village is centrally located in the county next door to the Village of Wellington, which is home to many Winter Equestrian & International Polo events.
The Village also has three elementary, one middle, one high, and two charter schools. There's plenty of shopping throughout the Village, including stores like Target, Costco, Walmart, BJs, Ross and more. The Village of Royal Palm Beach is such a great place to live!
