SUCCESSFUL REAL ESTATE AGENTS KNOW IT TAKES A TEAM

IT TAKES A TEAM
“Teamwork.” The combined action of multiple people to complete a task or tasks more effectively and efficiently than one single person could manage on their own.
Teamwork is a concept everyone has experience with. It’s a strategy we all use on a regular basis and in nearly every facet of our lives. In fact, how effective and efficient we are as individuals depends on our ability to harness the power of strong teams and use their strength to our advantage.
It’s the case that in the real estate industry too many agents fail to harness the advantage of a strong support team. Doing so would leave them to focus on what advances their career and builds their realty business the most - gaining clients. The consequence? They fail to live up to their earning potential.
Many agents fail to harness the advantage of a strong support team that would leave them to focus on what builds their business - gaining clients. The consequence? They fail to live up to their earning potential.
I believe our real estate firm is only as good as the agents who serve our clients. Likewise, a real estate agent is only as good as the professionals they engage to serve the client throughout the home buying and selling process.
Multiple professionals are involved in all real estate transactions. Always have been and always will be.
That combination of professionals will have either a positive or a negative effect on the process. A wise real estate agent understands the great value in allowing only a well-vetted and quality group of industry professionals to take part in such an important transaction for their client.
The Nashville and Middle Tennessee real estate market is remarkably fast-moving and competitive. With competition so intense and time so short, agents need to be sure that they outperform the competition at all turns or risk losing the deal or repeat business down the line.
One sure way to achieve this is to set their transactions up for success by having the proper support of professionals who have great influence over the deal.

All phases of the transaction are important, but none more so than the time between contract to close, when multiple professionals are involved with the success of the deal. At this stage of the process, who you have in your corner and their commitment to service matters and it matters a great deal.
Michelle Crawford of Signature Title Services operates with the same mindset and understanding when she says “We’re a service-oriented industry and regardless of the number of attorneys on staff or the excellent quality of our professional work, we are only as good as the service we provide, and the relationship with our referring agents is our most treasured asset. Our staff and attorneys live by that motto daily and that has meant all the difference in our continued growth and success.”
Likewise our preferred vendor in our Nashville and Brentwood office Lottie McCormick of Legacy Home Loans also captures this sentiment perfectly in saying “When using preferred vendors, everyone is under the same umbrella, looking in the same direction, operating as a team. If issues arise, many additional avenues are available and all hands are on deck to overcome any challenges due to the extended relationships involved.”

Service not only matters, it matters most. Cameron Foster of Old Republic Home Protection, expresses it best when he says: “My commitment to my clients goes beyond providing excellent service. I take great pride in developing lasting relationships based on trust, reliability, and a genuine concern for my client’s business.”
Whether contacted by a lender, title company, inspector, insurance provider, home warranty company, or any other service provider, your client will not recall every detail of all transactions and conversations had, but they will always remember how they were made to feel.
Finding quality professionals to support and augment your transactions is not easy and it’s a continual effort. Reliant Realty ERA Powered has vetted and improved its preferred vendor list for more than a decade to be sure that we are connecting the best possible options in the local market.
These professionals not only possess vast experience and excel at their craft, they also share our passion for top service and appreciation for strong and enduring relationships that produce the one thing in a sales transaction that cannot be bought - high levels of trust.

Dean Germain of Guaranteed Rate, our preferred Lender in our Gallatin office, surmises nicely when he comments “a good agent/vendor relationship allows them to not only trust but to believe in the recommendation they are giving their clients which dispels the dreaded stress and worry that too often and needlessly accompanies real estate transactions.”
Dean’s right. If your supporting professionals derive their professional and personal fulfillment through providing the best service possible, with their goal being to instill trust and foster lasting relationships between themselves, the client and the agent, your job - and your transactions - will be easier and you will find greater success.
In the days of online applications and text communication in lieu of face-to-face meetings, it’s easy to forget that, in the end, it’s the character and work ethic of the professionals that matters most, not their products. Products can be shopped and change regularly and you can always find “cheaper” but at what costs?
Quality character and strong work ethic are rare and unique traits. They are the true assets a wise real estate agent considers most and requires when bringing a professional into their transactions.
