If you need another reason to visit or live in Nashville TN, the NFL Draft 2019 launches in Music City on April 25th, 2019, and ends on Saturday, April 27th. Here's everything you need to know:
NFL Draft 2019 Schedule
- Round 1: Thursday, April 25, 8:00 p.m. ET
- Rounds 2-3: Friday, April 26, 7:00 p.m. ET
- Rounds 4-7: Saturday, April 27, 2:00 p.m. ET
NFL Draft Order
First Round Top 10 Draft Order
- The Arizona Cardinals earned top order for the first round picks. They have their work cut for them in determining the best fit on their defensive line as it's a dead heat between Nick Bosa and Quinnen Williams.
- Whichever one of the two powerhouses the Cardinals pick, will open the door of opportunity for the 2nd spot's San Francisco 49ers, who could find a potentially perfect marriage with Bosa.
- The New York Jets, 3rd in the order, would do well to snap up offensive tackle, Jonah Williams, out of Alabama. He could provide the type of protection the Jets' rookie quarterback, Sam Darnold, needs to improve his numbers.
- The 4th spot goes to the Oakland Raiders who may opt to make a quarterback change and move on from Derek Carr now that Kyler Murray is firmly in the football camp.
- Edge, Josh Allen, offers the type of versatility the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are looking to fill in their 5th place pick order. He provides the surprise package the Bucs need for rushing in from the edge or disrupting their opponents' passing line.
- Cornerback Andraez "Greedy" Williams is the right choice for the New York Giants to pick up in their 6th place spot on the order roster. Williams provides the length and aggressiveness that could add a foundational edge for Manning. (Update: The Browns traded Jabrill Peppers to the Giants along with a 2019 first-round pick and a 2019 third-round pick in exchange for Odell Beckham on March 12, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.)
- The Jacksonville Jaguars team, as 7th in the order, is also looking to fill their quarterback spot. Ohio State's Dwayne Haskins could provide them with the powerful edge they so desperately need.
- At number 8 in the draft order, the Detroit Lions are in the market for an edge.
- The 9th in order Buffalo Bills are shopping for an offensive tackle.
- Depending on how the Raiders and Jaguars roll with their quarterback options will determine which way 10th in order, Denver Broncos, will move to pick up their QB.
