Things To Do In & Around Gallatin
Bledsoe Creek State Park is home to Native American history. There are 57 campsites and more than six miles of scenic hiking trails. The trails go through the forest and along the lakes of the park. One mile of trail is paved, making the trail accessible to persons with disabilities. The trails are open year round.
Bledsoe Creek offers two boat launch ramps, one for campers and the other for the public use.
Other activities include fishing, picnic facilities, and programs which provide entertainment for all ages.
Cumberland River Cruises offer regularly scheduled, child-friendly public cruises that last about 1.5 hours. Also available for private charter, the vessels are great for parties, reunions, and more. Soft drinks and water available.
First opened in 1913 as a silent movie theater, historic The Palace Theater is the oldest movie theater in Tennessee. Under its current owners, it now hosts a variety of shows, events, and movies every Friday and Saturday night.
