The only time to eat diet food is while you're waiting for the steak to cook — Julia Child
You’re on the run, in-between meetings, trying to figure out where you can sit down to enjoy a delicious meal before you have to head off again. Luckily, Nashville is not short on options to please your taste buds.
Steakhouses are one of the top restaurant choices in Nashville.
In fact, there are well over a dozen steakhouses in the city known for having excellent food and service.
This list will give you a head start by covering the 7 absolute best steakhouses in the area.
1. Kayne Prime Steakhouse
1103 McGavock St, Nashville, TN 37203, USA
Kayne Prime Steakhouse is the best ranking steakhouse in all of Nashville, and it’s ranked #12 out of all of the city’s restaurants. If that doesn’t convince you to stop in and give it a taste, you may be tempted by their in-house cotton candy bacon, popcorn buttered lobster, cold water oysters, or one of the many other delicious dinner treats on the extensive – and delicious – menu.
The bar is also an enjoyable place to sit, but be sure to grab a reservation if you’re arriving during the peak dinner times.

Housed in an old mansion just a mile west of the downtown business district. Valet parking at the door. They are known for steaks and great service, and they delivered on both of those. – 1TNtraveler, Trip Advisor
