CASEY BROWN, CEO of RELIANT REALTY ERA POWERED, RECOGNIZED AT EXCLUSIVE 2017 ERA® YOUNG LEADERS NETWORK PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT EVENT
Summer Summit Prepares Future Real Estate Leaders
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE (August 22, 2017) — Casey Brown, CEO of Reliant Realty ERA Powered in Nashville, Tennessee, recently attended ERA Real Estate’s 2017 Young Leaders Network Summer Summit, the 6th annual elite educational event hosted in Columbia, South Carolina by ERA Wilder Realty. The brokerage is a long-standing President’s Circle Member, REAL Trends 500 Company, ERA Circle of Light and Gene Francis Memorial Award Winner and a recurring Master’s Cup Finalist and Platinum Cartus Company. Attendees represented many of the most successful ERA organizations across the U.S.
Over the three-day long event August 2-4, Mr. Brown and the other 27 Young Leaders participated in team-building and professional development exercises centered around the theme of growth, from technological growth through the Zap platform, to social media and marketing growth, to the growth of recruitment and agent development programs. Attendees also heard about success stories from the innovative new OS in use at Wilder Realty, the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), that helps place staff in the right roles to help the company reach high-level business goals and propel growth.
In addition to the working seminars, attendees were also treated to a private session in the South Carolina State House, where they met with Governor Henry McMaster, who took the leaders through a history of his state as seen through the lens of real estate development.
Mr. Brown was chosen as a member of the Young Leaders Network for his leadership in growing his team at Reliant Realty ERA Powered into the 4th largest ERA franchise out of 2,350 offices in 34 countries in 2016, making the REAL Trends "Top 500 Company" listing, and ranking Reliant Realty 162nd out of more than 100,000 brokerages in the US.
“The best part of the Summer Summit, other than the chance to meet my peers from across the country and see the Governor, was being able to communicate directly with some of ERA’s top leaders and learn from their mistakes and successes on their path to growth,” Mr. Brown said. “It was an invaluable opportunity to learn about market expansion, digital innovation and how I can best get out of my own way to grow as a professional and agent.”
“It was really one of the most practical and relevant events I’ve ever attended and I can’t wait to go back to Nashville to put all this new wisdom to work.”
Each attendee was personally selected for this exclusive networking opportunity by ERA’s senior leadership team, whose decision was based on the management and leadership abilities each member has demonstrated at their respective companies.
“This Young Leader’s Network Summer Summit was our sixth annual gathering, and it was more collaborative, innovative and meaningful than ever,” said Sue Yannaccone, President & Chief Executive Officer of ERA Real Estate. “Our Young Leaders are the future of this company and this industry, and it was inspiring to see them sharing knowledge, collaborating and breaking down siloes to make sure they all benefit from one another’s diverse set of experiences.”
“We’re so proud to continue to grow this foundational program for our business and for tomorrow’s real estate leaders, many of which we’re lucky to call our own.”
The Young Leader’s Network was launched in 2011 as a way for ERA Real Estate to bring together ERA professionals showing highly-engaged and collaborative characteristics early in their careers, to further develop their leadership skills. The members are mostly made up of Gen Y or Millennials who leverage this supportive community to discuss overcoming challenges and formulating business solutions.
“This was a very impressive group of people we were able to host this year, and I’m honored I had the chance to learn from these talented, hungry people,” said Eddie Wilder, broker/owner of ERA Wilder Realty. “This gathering once again enforced for me that the type of cross-company collaboration we have here at ERA is pretty unique in this industry, and that’s what allows us to move each of these businesses forward.”
